This painting was done from a Photograph that my Blogger friend Ralph Parker gave me prmission to use. The light and shade with the dappled light showing through really got me excited, and when I saw it on his posting, I had`to paint it, and he kindly gave me permission to use his Photograph, It`s obviously different to the photo, I`m no detailed painter, but prefer to paint it this way.

Ralph Parker is such a nice person, he is always willing to help and share. He has helped me so much with my gouache painting. Michael Bailey told me about him. I can't stop looking at this painting. 11. It has been a while since I travelled the blogs...when I saw this painting I was drawn to it immediately. It is composed beautifully. You have captured the majesty of the light filled trees offset by the beautiful pink sky. There is always a real sense of serenity in your paintings. So well done!
